Lesley Rose

Speaker Bio

Lesley Rose leads the Homecare Team within National Procurement, National Services Scotland. She is the Professional Secretary for the NHS Scotland Medicines Homecare National Governance Group who approve homecare services on a once for Scotland basis.

Registering as a pharmacist in 1999, Lesley worked in the Community Pharmacy sector for 5 years including a year in New Zealand. In 2003 she joined NHS Ayrshire & Arran as a Prescribing Advisor working to optimise prescribing in GP Practices. In 2020 she started working with NHS Education for Scotland and the Effective Prescribing and Therapeutic Division, Scottish Government before joining National Procurement in 2022.

Her professional interests include respiratory medicine, education & training and homecare.
