I am delighted to announce that the National Clinical Homecare Association (NCHA) and the National Homecare Medicines Committee (NHMC) have been awarded the COVID-19 Outstanding Response Award. This really reflects the extraordinary effort that has been put in by all members of the NCHA, NHMC and the NHS in supporting both existing patients and welcoming new patients onto clinical homecare.
At this time I would like to give thanks in recognition of the tremendous support and effort given by every NCHA member organisation and all employees in the homecare industry / NHS. In addition, it is right to recognise the effective leadership and support provided by Susan Gibert and the NHMC team provide to all of our members. We could not have delivered our part without you!
Furthermore, it would be remiss of me not to thank the Pharmaceutical Industry, and the NCHA Patient Communication Advisory Group for the advice and commitment they have given to us to aid improved communication to our patients. Final thanks must go to all patients and carers on homecare services we have really appreciated the positive feedback received during these difficult times.
