Alison Davis, Chair of the National Clinical Homecare Association (NCHA) is delighted to announce that the NCHA in collaboration with Susan Gibert, National Homecare Medicines Committee (NHMC) has be awarded the status of ‘Finalist in this years;

UK National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence In Public Procurement Awards 2022

We submitted in the category for ‘Continuous Improvement Award’ and we are delighted to be ‘Proud Finalists’.

The award recognises the hard work and commitment in supporting patients during the COVID-19 Crisis across the Clinical Homecare Industry and the partnership working with the NHS, the National Homecare Medicines Committee (NHMC). It showcases the innovations and changes that have been implemented to enable the whole homecare sector to support the NHS by supporting more patients on service and by implementing improvements such as the commencement of the E Prescription Hub.

The level of determination, commitment, flexibility and ability to work in partnership in support of patients has truly been exceptional and this has been recognised by the judging panel. So to all our members, we thank you.

NHCA and NHMC would also like to give thanks to the patient groups we have worked with to improve communication for all patients and also recognise the continued support received from the Pharmaceutical Industry.

The final decision on Category Winner will be announced on the 25th May.
